What hours do Littera Tutors work?
Tutors will work with assigned students at scheduled times based on their availability. Tutors can change their availability as needed but must keep their availability up to date. Tutoring demand depends on the needs of students and sessions can occur during the school day or after school hours. Tutors may not always be scheduled during the entirety of their available time. Tutors may not always have the same scheduled sessions from week to week as tutoring sessions are based on student needs.
Do I work with the same students?
Because tutors will work with students from all over the country, and student availability may change, tutors may not always work with the same student. Tutors are matched with students based on availability and student needs. If the tutor has worked with a student in the past, there is a likelihood they will be matched with the student for future tutoring sessions.
What subjects can I tutor?
Tutoring sessions are based on student need. There is a potential to work with students from grades K-12 in multiple school subjects.
Where does Littera tutoring take place?
All tutoring will be completed virtually within the Littera platform. Sessions will be 1:1 to start and will potentially be up to 1:8. Students come from all over the U.S.
What are the technology requirements to be a Littera Tutor?
Tutors must have a computer/tablet and access to wifi as well as a working microphone and camera. Tutors will access the Littera program using the latest version of Google Chrome.
How much are Littera tutors paid?
